VIRAL VIDEO: Ohio Reporter Myles Harris’ Mother Interrupts His Broadcast In The Cutest Way

Reporter Myles Harris was working in Columbus, Ohio, on Feb. 19 in the field when his mom interrupted his broadcast.

As the ABC6 reporter was working across the street from a Roosters restaurant in north Columbus, he noticed his mother approaching the scene.

“That’s my mom,” he said to cameraman DeAngelo Byrd. “Hold on.”

Sandi Harris pulled up to the scene and enthusiastically greeted her son and Byrd.

“Hi, baby,” she said as she waved.

Byrd continued to record as he laughed in the background. The exasperated reporter explained to his mom that he was working.

“I’m trying to work right now and you’re over there calling my phone,” he said. “This is DeAngelo, you can say hi. Don’t be holding up traffic because you got cars behind you.”

“Hi, DeAngelo,” she replied before blowing a kiss and driving off.

Both Byrd and Harris laughed as the reporter asked if the cameraman had been recording. Byrd was recording, and the cute video went viral. Harris said that his mother was his number one cheerleader.

“She always wants a front-row seat,” he said. “Number-one cheerleader.”

He appeared on Good Morning America on Feb. 24 and said his mom told him that she saw him while she was running errands. Harris posted the video on social media, and it went viral. ABC6 also shared the adorable footage with a caption.

“A mother’s love! 💖 Our @MylesHarrisTV got a surprise visit from his mom while he was working 😂🤣.”

His darling mom also crashed her son’s interview on Good Morning America and was equally adorable. She said that she was proud of her son.

“He’s my biggest accomplishment,” she said.

People loved the video and were touched by Sandi checking on her grown son.

“Pure sweetness,” wrote John-Carlos Estrada. “Think of all the reporters who have been harassed while doing live shots and this guy gets his mom in the background. We need this today.”

As the interview ended, Sandi Harris said goodbye to her son.

“Bye, baby.”
