US Representative Cori Bush put Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in her place on Twitter after the chapped-lipped lady told her to stop with the reparations demands because she supported the US lending a helping hand to Ukraine.
Minding her business, Bush tweeted the truth about how enslavers wrote the Declaration of Independence yet didn’t include Black people because they didn’t see them as humans.
“Today (July 4) is a great day to demand Reparations now,” Bush tweeted.
The Declaration of Independence was written by enslavers and didnβt recognize Black people as human.

Greene tweeted, “Just stop. You voted to send $113 billion to the white people and white Nazi army of Ukraine.”
Just stop.
You voted to send $113 Billion to the white people and white Nazi army of Ukraine. https://t.co/aFtTH4Bhnb

Bush clapped back with a “this you?” tweet and a screenshot of a Newsweek report about Greene buying stock in a defense contractor while slamming “profitable war.”

Greene specifically purchased between $1,001 and $15,000 in Lockheed Martin Stock in February 2022. And according to the Newsweek article, the corporation “manufactures Javelin anti-tank missiles with defense contractor Raytheon.” The same missiles that were sent to aid Ukraine
Greene’s supporters thought they were doing something when they tweeted about Bush spending $500,000 on private security while demanding the defunding of police. However, Greene’s supporters evidently don’t know the difference between security guards and police.

Security guards are meant to protect a specific entity, while the police are a civil force with the duty to prevent, protect and maintain public order. Yet, as many recall, they were the ones causing disorder when they were killing Black citizens for no reason.
Try again!
This isn’t the first time the two bumped heads. Bush announced on Twitter three years ago that she was moving her office away from Greene because she roamed the halls without her mask covering her face during COVID. Greene posted the confrontation on Twitter.
A maskless Marjorie Taylor Greene & her staff berated me in a hallway. She targeted me & others on social media.
I’m moving my office away from hers for my team’s safety.
I’ve called for the expulsion of members who incited the insurrection from Day 1. Bring H.Res 25 to a vote.

Rep. @CoriBush is the leader of the St. Louis Black Lives Matter terrorist mob who trespassed into a gated neighborhood to threaten the lives of the McCloskeyβs.
She is lying to you. She berated me.
Maybe Rep. Bush didnβt realize I was live on video, but I have the receipts. https://t.co/CJjnI3ZTjC pic.twitter.com/ZMLGOGjxKw
