A shooting at an apartment complex in Wisconsin left three people dead — including the suspect — and one was injured on Saturday morning.
According to WISN 12, the medical examiner identified the shooting suspect as 26-year-old Larvell Huddleston, a Brown Deer apartment complex resident.
Officers received a call about shots being fired at around 10:10 a.m. at the Park Plaza apartments in Brown Deer, 15 miles north of Milwaukee. When police arrived at the scene, Huddleston reportedly shot them on the second floor of the building, KETV 7 reported.
The Brown Deer Police department held a press conference Saturday evening, stating that the suspect likely died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“Our officers, when they arrived, the suspect was on the second-floor balcony firing at our officer,” Police Chief Peter Nimmer said during the conference. The suspect struck the K-9 unit, but nobody was hurt.
Nimmer also said the incident started as a domestic violence dispute.
Once the police entered the building, they discovered the bodies of 23-year-old Arieuna Reed and 31-year-old Michael Anderson. In addition, a 36-year-old man suffered a non-life-threatening injury with a gunshot wound to the leg. There was an infant in the apartment during the shooting. He was unharmed, WISN 12 reported.
Police confirmed that Reed was the mother of a two-year-old boy named Egypt.
In a series of Instagram clips posted by ItsOnSite, the shooter went on Facebook live following a shootout with the police.
“Just come get my son first,” the suspect is heard yelling at authorities from the second-floor balcony. “I just want to say I’m sorry,” he said to the phone. “This gonna be the last day everybody hear from me, bruh.”
He continued, “I’ve been playing with and all types of s**t. I’m not straight, but I’m not crazy… “I ain’t killing myself, though.”

In one of the clips, the Huddleston showed an outfit he wanted to be buried while continuing the video and holding a firearm.
“I failed you and everybody else,” he said in a prayer. “Please watch over my son as he continues to live his life, and I pray best for his mama and her family.”
Before the video ended, the 26-year-old told an unidentified person to give the money they owed him to his son’s grandparents on his mother’s side.
