Stephen Curry Launches New Grahic Novel Series, ‘Stephen Curry Presents! Sports Superheroes’

Stephen Curry is venturing off the court and heading to publishing with his soon-to-be-published graphic novel, “Stephen Curry Presents!: Sports Superheroes.”

The Golden State Warriors and his media company, Unanimous Media, are partnering with Penguin Workshop to make the novel happen.

“We hope that when kids pick up the books in this series to read all about their favorite athletes, it not only instills excitement and grows their love for reading but also inspires them to reach for the stars and accomplish their dreams,” Curry and Erik Peyton, Unanimous Media co-founder, said.

“Stephen Curry Presents!: Sports Superheroes” is the NBA star’s second superhero book. In September, Curry announced the release of his book, “I Have a Superpower.”

Curry planned to have four installments, the first focusing on his career. The book is scheduled to release in the fall of 2024. Damion Scott will be the illustrator for the new series, and Rich Korson will be the writer.

Curry has been known to read his first Superhero book to different classes online. Oct. 16, he read to an Ivey Ranch Elementary 4th grade class.

In March, the NBA champion and his wife, Ayesha, went to Franklin Elementary School to donate children’s books.

Curry isn’t the only NBA player to release a children’s book. LeBron James published his book, “I Promise,” Dennis Rodman released his book” Dennis The Wild Bull” in 2013, and Chris Paul wrote “Long Shot: Never Too Small To Dream Big.”
