Very sorry to hear this. I didn’t know Diamond well but whenever I met her she was very kind and joyful. God bless.https://t.co/up1XnjPsfZ pic.twitter.com/PrPHfrt9jq

“Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina. Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!”
Reactions to Diamond’s death varied on Twitter from people offering condolences to others cooking her.

I worked very closely with both Diamond and Silk over the summer, hammering out the details and getting it “just so”
Both ladies were sweet and kind, but they knew what they wanted and how they wanted it.
Their attention to detail was incredible. pic.twitter.com/NJUFYro3XY

Ok I was going to try and be respectful but the woman’s body isn’t even cold yet and Silk literally using Diamond’s death to grift. That’s modern Conservativism through and through. pic.twitter.com/v5NaOG354F

Diamond and Silk gained notoriety for caping for Trump and being avid MAGA supporters. They were the Black darlings of the goofy-a**ed right wing. The duo secured a FOX News show, Diamond and Silk Crystal Clear in 2018 and endorsements as well. The pair were infamous for spreading lies about COVID vaccines, so the network ultimately canceled the show.
“After what they’ve said and tweeted you won’t be seeing them on Fox Nation or Fox News anytime soon,” The Daily Beast reported.
Silk posted to the fundraising site GiveSendGo soliciting donations for her deceased sister.
“The World just lost a True Angel and Warrior Patriot for Freedom, Love, and Humanity! Diamond blazed a trail, founded on her passion and love for the entire race of humanity. The memory of her passing should forever remain in our hearts. In this time of grief, please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family but remember and celebrate the gift that she gave us all!”
She’s raised slightly over $21,000.
