Shaun King may be under investigation for allegedly scamming people with his clothing line.

On Tuesday, Philadelphia magazine editor-at-large Ernest Owens shared a thread on Twitter re-sparking the scam conversation and shedding new light.

Owens included a screenshot of the alleged email from an investigator with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Division of Consumer Affairs.

“It was brought to our attention that you have had, or at least have heard of, issues involving purchases from the website, www.arealone.com.” the screenshot reads.

Owens concluded his thread by sharing a link to the investigated clothing line with a cautionary message for future customers.

As previously reported by Sis2Sis, King’s clothing line, A Real One, was initially criticized during the launch for scamming Black people into buying expensive, relatively bland clothing in the name of justice.

Then, issues came about as people complained about not having received their orders. The ongoing complaints are being noticed and sparking an investigation into the BLM activist’s legitimacy.

Let’s hope the alleged investigation can get the customers their clothing or funds back.
