Shane Belleville of Holbrook, Mass., Charged With Hate Crimes And Assault After Trying To Run Over Black Children

Shane Belleville, 36, is being charged by Holbrook Police with hate crimes, assault with a dangerous weapon and other charges after attempting to run over a group of black children with his pickup truck. The bigoted man allegedly got into a verbal argument with juveniles at a middle school playground in Holbrook, Massachusetts, before doing the unthinkable.

According to a police investigation, Belleville got into an altercation with several minors on April 10. A minor

called 911 dispatchers after they claimed a man in a red pickup truck tried to run them over along with a group of friends. An unidentified child called Belleville to Holbrook Middle Senior School after a pair of kids got into an argument, one black and one white. Police say that after one of the children invited Belleville over for help, the fight was already over before he arrived.

Once there, he confronted a group of black children in his red pickup truck, and chaos ensued. One teenage girl spat on Belleville, and he slapped her before yelling racial slurs at the group and returning to his truck. Holbrook Police say that Belleville then

reversed into the group, who had to quickly jump to get out of harm’s way.

No word yet on when Belleville will attend court for his hate crime-related charges.
