To some Black people, proximity to whiteness is a personality trait that they should get credit for. Robert Griffin, an American football player, seems to be one of those Black people. This week, he took to Twitter to remind us that he is on his second white wife but did it by being weird and bringing up her butt size.
It started when Griffin posted a video of his wife, Grete Sadeiko, doing what looked like Sumo squats with bad form. His caption said, “cOmE oN bRO yOUr WiFe iS wHiTE.”
Griffin seemed to be implying that people make fun of him for having a white wife, but she has a big butt. We don’t believe either statement is true, however.
Grete Sadeiko is a former track and field star, and she married Robert Griffin after he went through a tumultuous divorce from his first wife, who was also white. The drama was
because Griffin “met” Sadeiko only seven months after his first wife had their child. Basically, it starts with a “ch” and rhymes with “eating.”Immediately, Twitter took notice and decided that a clown looking for attention will get just that.
Then, when Twitter gave him what he asked for, he kept being weird instead of doing football drills or more butt-building exercises with his wife.
So, in true Black Twitter fashion, since Robert Griffin didn’t want to stop, the tweets didn’t either.
Maybe Robert Griffin and Tim Scott can sit down and commiserate about how awfully racist Black people are.
