LeBron James caught heat from white Twitter after posting a tweet seemingly mocking Kyle Rittenhouse’s uber-dramatic cryfest on the stand as he testified in his murder trial.
The 36-year-old baller posted laughing emojis along with the footage of Rittenhouse’s alleged breakdown and wrote, “What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man, knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”

After he posted the tweet, users on the platform came through to defend the gunman. The white tears were many.
One person suggested that Rittenhouse perhaps had PTSD after gunning down protesters.
From someone that knows PTSD very well, if this is acting this is academy award winning shit.
I’m not saying he was right for being there, but this isn’t acting in my experience.

One woman went full Karen while calling LeBron “Bron Bron,” turning the perpetrator into a victim.
You’re wrong Bron Bron… this child is 18 years old and has never experienced any major violence. Psychologically most would break down the way he did. I didn’t think it possible but he’s looking like self-defense.

Why is @KingJames on the wrong side of every issue? When you revisit traumatic memories it comes out differently emotionally and/or psychically. Understand the subject before commenting on it.

If you are suggesting he was somehow faking it, then he is a much better actor than you were in Space Jam.

Other Twitter users came to LeBron’s rescue. Reactions ranged from rebuking white tears to speculating that the judge was helping the defense.
Per Rosenberg…
The Rittenhouse trial is fixed. He will get off. Every time the prosecutor makes a point or traps Rittenhouse in a lie, the judge intervenes to stop him. This is one of the most egregious examples of the lack of equal justice in this country that I have witnessed— Lena Vinson (@VinsonLena) November 11, 2021
One person pointed out that as fragile as Rittenhouse was on the stand, he had no issues with underage drinking.
This was him shortly after drinking underage smiling.. but Yall wanna jump on Lebron lol y’all really need to get a life. Dude putting on a act bc he’s scared of going to prison. Notice he’s wearing a shirt that says “ free as fuck” that PTSD must be hard in the courtroom right? pic.twitter.com/G7rqrrstCy

When I’ve had to confront racial bias I’ve experienced and witnessed, a repeated reply from perpetrators is, “Well, I’m talking about you right now.” Well, to all you haters asking why doesn’t LeBron speak out on this or that, Well he’s talking about Rittenhouse now.

One supporter ended the naysayers with one poignant tweet.
Imagine the real tears of the families 💚

Rittenhouse is on trial for shooting three men last year. The defense argues it was self-defense. Instead of minding his business, the 18-year-old went to protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin to “protect businesses.”
“People are getting injured, and our job is to protect this business. And part of my job is to also help people. If there is somebody hurt, I’m running into harm’s way. That’s why I have my rifle.”
Anyway, LeBron had a point, and Rittenhouse still shot those people, including the deceased.
