Julie Blanchard, Wife of Hershel Walker, Allegedly Committed Voter Fraud In 2020 Election

Herschel Walker, a former Dallas Cowboy football player, turned Republican token, and his wife, Julie Blanchard, live in Texas. However, Blanchard voted in Georgia last year, and now she’s accused of committing voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Blanchard cast an absentee ballot in the state of Georgia. This is

generally illegal except under a specific set of criteria.

The state law in Georgia provides that an individual’s residence is determined by where their habitation is fixed. Blanchard owns a home in Buckhead. However, she lives in Westlake, Texas, with Herschel Walker.

Further, Blanchard’s voter registration in Georgia was terminated for inactivity because she had not voted in the state since 2008.

Blanchard suddenly renewed her driver’s license and voter registration in 2019, just in time for the 2020 election. Notably, both of those elections had heavy implications. First, with Barack Obama becoming the first Black president in the middle of a Republican-fueled recession and second, with the nation in need of rescue from Donald Trump. Georgia also turned blue, and Democrats Rev. Ralph Warnock and Jon Osoff won two Senate seats.

Blanchard’s behavior is even more ironic because Walker, who may be running in 2022 to unseat Rev. Ralph Warnock as a senator for Georgia, had very strong thoughts on voter fraud after Donald Trump failed to win a second term.

The AJC reached out to Blanchard, who appears not to have played by the rules as her husband suggested.

“If we’re residents in both places, is that legally wrong? If you have multiple homes, you can’t vote where you have a home?”

Blanchard would not answer whether or not she spent more time in Texas or Georgia, but she is not a registered voter in Texas.

Meanwhile, Herschel Walker has expressed that he may move to Georgia to run for public office. This idea was a suggestion made to him by his friend and twice-impeached former President Donald Trump. Unfortunately, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell does not like the idea partially due to Walker’s history of violence.

The Georgia Secretary of State’s office would not reveal if Julie Blanchard is under investigation.
