Comedian and iconic actress behind HBO’s hit show Insecure Issa Rae announced her partnership with Delta Airlines, highlighting the balance between stylish and “well-traveled” clothes.
She shared the news with her fans in a celebratory Instagram post on September 28. The post featured Rae asking people what their favorite thing was about traveling, receiving answers about the magic of going places and not coming back the same and meeting new people. The video sports the tagline of being “for travelers & by travelers.”
The post was captioned, “Attention travel lovers! Excited to announce my collaboration with @delta and six fly small businesses to create a fashion line for the modern jetsetter. The glimpse of Issa Rae’s limited edition fashion week collection culminates the answers given by “jetsetters” – trendsetting travelers – and seeks to encapsulate simple and chic styles for flying.
According to the Los Angeles Fashion Week website, the venue will include a slew of beauty brands, new digital experiences, traditional runway shows, as well as more unique panels and displays.
Rae is no stranger to the fashion world, being a popular figure in magazines and shows for her looks.
