Corbin Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida, was reported missing by his mother, Melissa Jackson, in 2018. However, after his body was discovered the following year, his death was reportedly listed as a homicide.
Years later, the 18-year-old’s mom is upset after lyrics from a rap song discussing Johnson’s death have gone viral on TikTok, according to News 4 Jax.
Titled “Beatbox Remix/Bibby Flow” by rappers Foolio and COJACK, the song and online video have gone viral on YouTube with over 10 million views. The lyrics “Corbin got kidnapped, they found his bones he was rotten (Where’s Corbin?)” apparently refer to Johnson’s untimely death.
The phrase “Where’s Corbin” has also gone viral on TikTok, with users crafting jokes and skits surrounding the song’s lyrics. The hashtag #wherescorbin currently has close to 4.5 million views on the platform.
Sharing her thoughts on the new social media trend, Jackson reportedly revealed, “I think that it’s just ignorant. I really do think that it’s ignorant. For the most part, it is disgusting a lot of people. A lot of people, if you do, have some people that think it’s funny and laughing about it. But for the most part, it really is touching a lot of people’s hearts.”

Rapper Foolio commented on Johnson in a recent Instagram live stream when viewers asked about the 18-year-old, according to News 4 Jax, and simply stated, “Talking about where is Corbin, I don’t know where Corbin is. That’s all I’ve got to say.”
Per the Florida news outlet, Johnson also shared recently via Instagram that he won’t be name-dropping any more murder victims in his music, calling it “childish.”
A suspect has yet to be arrested for Johnson’s murder, News 4 Jax reported.
“To answer the question, where’s Corbin? Corbin is right here. He’s in my heart,” the mother reportedly added about her son. “If you’re looking for Corbin, that’s where Corbin is. He’s right here. I have him with me every day.”
