U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker is facing heat for being an absent father after it was revealed that he is the father of three additional “secret” children.
Walker, a former Heisman Trophy winner and retired United States Football League (USFL) and National Football League (NFL) player is a Black conservative who’s been endorsed by Donald Trump in his campaign against Georgia’s Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.)
The ex-NFL star won the Republican nomination last month with more than 68 percent of the vote.
According to The Daily Beast, Walker had a secret 10-year-old son out of wedlock and confirmed on June 15 that he also has a 13-year-old son and an adult daughter that he had in college.
“I have four children. Three sons and a daughter. They’re not ‘undisclosed’—they’re my kids,” Walker said. “I support them all and love them all. I’ve never denied my children, I confirmed this when I was appointed to the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, I just chose not to use them as props to win a political campaign. What parent would want their child involved in garbage, gutter politics like this?”
Walker’s other three children were revealed just days after his oldest public-facing son, Christian, posted a TikTok video about absentee fathers.
“Get home and raise your kids and take care of the women you’re knocking up! Can you control your thing for three seconds?” Christian says.

Although he calls Nick Cannon out by name in his video, one can only assume that these could be shots fired directly at his father too.
And this isn’t the first time Christian has been vocal about absentee fathers. He is very active on social media, criticizing Black men for having children with multiple women and to put it plainly, for being n*ggas.

What makes this entire situation even more ironic is Walker has been hypocritically critical of absentee Black fathers in the past.
In a 2021 interview, Walker said, “The father leaves in the Black family. He leaves the boys alone so they’ll be raised by their mom. If you have a child with a woman, even if you have to leave that woman — even if you have to leave that woman — you don’t leave that child.”
