It’s a hard time for many people across the world right now, but it’s particularly tough for one chef who was featured on Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back.
LA-based chef Clive Jackson has found himself homeless after his restaurant closed down after not being able to attract customers.
Jackson, who was featured on the popular reality show’s first season in 2018, was the owner of The Brownstone Bistro, a Carribean-style restaurant.
Despite his best efforts, the chef was ultimately forced to close the restaurant, leaving him without a source of income or a place to live.

You can support Chef Jackson on GoFundMe, which his friend Lizzy Calhoun set up.
Calhoun is the organizer of Food Not Bombs DTLA, a group that serves meals and distributes supplies to those in need on Skid Row. During the LA rain storms, Jackson’s makeshift tent was destroyed, leaving him in the cold.
“I will not have it on my conscience if he freezes to death in a city with exponential wealth & inadequate resources,” she said.
“When I met him, he was bright-eyed, energetic & hopeful about finding work,” Calhoun shared. “The shelter system & SROs were terrifying experiences for such a trusting gentle man. And it’s next to impossible to find work when you don’t have access to stable housing.”
