Katie Pavlich, one of Fox News’ blonde talking heads, suggested Vice President Kamala Harris made it to The White House due to her gender and race.
Pavlich dropped the hot take during an appearance on Fox News’ The Five on Tuesday night, reported People Magazine. The comment followed a discussion about Harris’ controversial visit to Guatemala and Mexico to address the immigration crisis.
Harris has received some bipartisan heat around this trip for different reasons. The left was upset because she said “do not come” to Guatemalans who might be interested in crossing the border. Republicans believe the Biden administration isn’t prioritizing the border between the United States and Mexico.
Pavlich decided to pile on with some misogynoir.

“This is what happens when you choose your vice president based on gender and skin color rather than actual talent and expertise,” Pavlich told her co-hosts. “We’re seeing that disaster unfold right now.”
Veteran journalist Geraldo Rivera, who was also on the panel, was offended by the remark and defended Harris’ credentials.
“Oh, I don’t agree with that. That’s so mean,” Rivera told Pavlich. “She was attorney general for the state of California. She was a United States senator. You can’t demean her just because she disagrees with you.”
Instead of correcting herself, Pavlich took a shot at Harris’ failed presidential campaign.
“Well, there’s a reason why she got zero votes and then had to drop out of the race before they even started taking votes,” she replied.
As CNN noted, Harris isn’t having the best week. On Tuesday night, she had an awkward interaction with NBC’s Lester Holt after questioning why she had not been to the Southern border.
“At some point, you know, we are going to the border,” Harris responded. “We’ve been to the border. So this whole, this whole, this whole thing about the border. We’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.”
“You haven’t been to the border,” Holt told the VP.
“I, and I haven’t been to Europe. And I mean, I don’t — I don’t understand the point that you’re making,” Harris laughed. “I’m not discounting the importance of the border.”
She later promised CNN she would eventually make it to the border.
Sis might have to pick up a bottle of wine on the way from The White House.
