Over the past weekend, a drive-by shooting in Monroe, North Carolina reportedly resulted in the tragic death of a 13-year-old girl later identified as Loyalti Allah. According to WSOC-TV, four men have since been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in relation to Saturday’s shooting, and are also all being held without bond in Union County.
Local authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
Allah’s family reportedly told news outlet WBTV that the young teenager was waiting for a DoorDash food delivery when the shooting occurred. Local police added that she was hanging with her friends while outside of an apartment complex at the time.
According to WBTV, the 13-year-old was discovered with a gunshot wound and later died at a local hospital. No one else was injured in the shooting incident.
Police said that a Black SUV skirted off after the drive-by shooting, WSCO-TV reported. Shortly following, Jamari McClain, 18, Darius Roland, 19, Javon Demontre Robinson, 20 and Jamari Crowder, 22 were

Yvette Alan, the mother of the 13-year-old shooting victim, told WSOC-TV about the recent loss, “My baby was at the wrong place at the wrong time, but she was having fun, and she’s gone,” continuing, “I been in the hospital for three days this week, and I came home Saturday morning. Saturday evening — my baby was gone. Nobody don’t know how I feel to see my baby laying there taking her last breath,”
Seemingly referring to the suspects in the case, the North Carolina mother reportedly added, “I can’t have hate towards them. They babies as well. I’m not saying they don’t know right from wrong,”
No word on when the four men will be due in court.
