Eileen Cure, a financial adviser at LPL financial, has been fired after her discriminatory “no Blacks” hiring policy was exposed.
The story of Cure’s downfall is rather involved and began when she sent a Skype message to her staff after realizing that a job candidate she had interviewed was Black. Those staff members sent the message to Denise Bradley, a TikToker who goes by the username @auntkaren0.
“I specifically said no Blacks. I am not a prejudiced person, but our clients are 90% white, and I need to cater to them. That interview was a complete waste of my time. Please don’t second guess me or go against what I ask. Listen to me and give me what I ask for, please,” Cure wrote to her staff.
Unfortunately for Cure, Bradley, a Black woman, exposes racists on her TikTok page and is quite popular.
Once Cure was exposed, she responded unsurprisingly poorly.
First, she went on the attack and said that the allegations were “false and defamatory.” She said that Bradley had no press credentials and shared the screenshots without context.
Then, she threatened the woman, who exposed her, with legal action that would entail getting the TikToker banned from the social media site.

Apparently, Cure realized that threat was impotent and issued a statement ensuring the public that her hiring policy is free of discriminatory criteria.
“I have taken steps to confirm that race never has and will not be a factor in hiring decisions at my firm,” Cure said in a statement.
In the midst of her ardent defensiveness and backpedaling, the racist woman’s husband allegedly threatened Bradley’s life, causing her to relocate to a hotel and, with the help of Cash App (the company) and GoFundMe donations, began ramping up her security.
I news reporter in Houston just confirmed that Eileen Cure’s husband stated “Tell that Tiktoker to come down here to Texas, and I’ll put her in a grave”. At this point I am concerned for my safety, and will be taking necessary steps to protect myself.

LPL Financial could take no more and has fired Eileen Cure after an investigation of her discriminatory comments. LPL is the largest independent broker-dealer in the United States. Cure was an independent adviser working under LPL’s umbrella.
A representative for LPL said that the interviewee in question could not only sue Cure but LPL, something LPL does not want.
Cure’s website is still active. However, several of the links go to an inactive “maintenance mode.”
Bradley is safe.
Cure was an adviser but may now need to be advised on procuring employment after being fired for being a racist.
Sorry to this woman.
