Bianca Chambers Tracks Down Stolen Car, Drags Thief By His Locs In Detroit

Buckle your seatbelts for this one! Bianca Chambers, a Detroit resident, has put the local police to shame after her own investigative work to track down the man who stole her and her boyfriend’s Mercedes Benz. Once she found him, she did what any reasonable person would do and dragged him by his locs.

Chambers said that she tracked the car for a few days after being stolen from the Marshall’s store on Eight Mile and Woodward on Monday. As the thief galavanted around town, she called the local police each time, but they managed to show up too late to catch the man, reported

Fox 2 Detroit.

But Chamber’s detective work came to a stunning conclusion when she discovered that the thief was at a local barbershop getting fresh and clean before heading to his next destination in the 2016 Mercedes Benz 300C.

When she pulled up at the location, she went in and confronted the man face-to-face.

“At that point, I was like…I’m not letting this man walk again,” she said.

Not only did he not walk, but he also slid…across the floor as she dragged him by his locs. Other patrons in the shop jumped in to help to detain the man. Meanwhile, Chambers called the police again and prevented a repeat of the results of their slow response. She slashed

all four tires on the car.

The city of Detroit came under fire in 2019 for slower police response times in areas more heavily populated with minority residents. Though there are no details of the time, it took police to respond to Chamber’s other calls for help, suffice to say that they weren’t quick enough.

Police have issued a statement that sounds more like a warning about Chamber’s bold investigative techniques.

“We’ve got a victim who allegedly stole this car who was assaulted, but he didn’t want to press charges, so [Chambers] wasn’t arrested,” Deputy Chief Rudy Harper said. “But that wasn’t a citizen’s arrest; it was a felonious assault.”

Meh. The man turned out to be a criminal who has a history of grand theft auto going back to his teens. We doubt he’ll be stealing another car in the future.
