Former President Barack Obama’s caustic halfbrother, Malik, has repeatedly labeled him a “fake a**” snake and, recently, a homophobic slur on X.
Malik, an overt Trump supporter, has used his X page to attack his halfbrother, calling him a snake and entertaining the whole “Obama is gay” narrative that has popped up.
Posting a photo of the two with the caption, “Me and Fake a** a snake (President Barack Obama) when he was a nobody,” Malik claimed the image was taken before Barack “became a SNOB.”
When someone asked if he was gay, Malik replied, ” A f****t.”

He has also gone on numerous Republican-run podcasts and shows to impugn Barack and swore up and down that he’s not a traitor like his halfbrother.

The 65-year-old’s attacks on the former president have happened for years, and it’s because he feels as though Barack’s presidential power changed him and sucked him “into the matrix,” according to a 2016 interview with Fox’s Sean Hannity. He said he struggled to contact Barack yet admitted to the former president inviting him to the White House annually.
Ironically, Barack and Malik were reportedly close even when he announced his run for president, which inspired his halfbrother to run as an independent candidate for the governorship of rural Siaya County. Knowing his halfbrother’s name held power in the U.S., he used it in his slogan, “Obama here, Obama there,” to benefit himself. He ended up losing.
Additionally, Malik caught much heat in 2011 for his non-profit that he named after their shared and late father, Barack H. Obama, Sr. Supposedly created to improve lives in Kenya’s Siaya District, the foundation allegedly failed to report its expenditures to the IRS to prove they were following through with their promises and it failed to register with Virginia since it claimed to be U.S.-based.
According to an interview with the New York Post in 2016, Malik said Barack told him to shut down the foundation, which he didn’t.
Malik told the Post that politics wasn’t for him and that he couldn’t wait for his halfbrother to finish his presidency because “I will finally be out of the limelight and be able to live like a human being,” yet he continues to run his X fingers about his halfbrother and constantly riding Trump’s…nevermind.
