With the misdemeanor battery charge, Gwin could face over six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
“The alleged battery of an unhoused member of our community is completely unacceptable,” Jenkins said in her statement. “Mr. Gwin will face appropriate consequences for his actions. Likewise, the vandalism at Foster Gwin gallery is also completely unacceptable and must stop – two wrongs do not make a right.”

As reported by News Onyx, a video went viral showing Gwin spraying a homeless woman in front of the Barbarossa Lounge, next to his shop, Foster Gwin Art & Antiques. Disregarding the cold weather, Gwin sprayed the woman for a few seconds before turning off the hoes and telling her to move. Gwin tried to justify his actions by stating the unidentified woman was violent with him before hosing her down.
