The surveillance video did not include sound but showed Kendrick moving from his workstation to the front of the counter, where the 67-year-old man stood hunched over the counter. Kendrick punched him for complaining about his order. The attacker walked away after hitting his victim without offering any assistance. At the same time, his fellow employees stepped up to see what the commotion was about. In another part of the video, Kendrick gathered his belongings and walked out of the restaurant. It’s not clear whether Kendrick was told to leave or if he voluntarily resigned.
