An unnamed woman reportedly told police that she got into an argument with her boyfriend, 29-year-old Brandon Strong, after he was angered at not signing into his unemployment account and having his password attempt failed, CBS 46 reported. According to the outlet, he allegedly grabbed a gun and shot at her, hitting her in the arm and causing her to grab her child and flee from their Georgia home.
The news outlet reported that Strong has since been arrested and taken to Georgia’s Clayton County Jail. He was booked on aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, felony cruelty to children 1st degree, and other charges.

Officers discovered the woman crying for help in a car early Thursday morning. In a statement obtained by the outlet, police stated that she was “bleeding profusely from four bullet holes in her left arm.”
Officers on the scene reportedly tried to stop her bleeding by applying a tourniquet.
The distraught victim told the responding officers that Strong got upset after his unemployment account password failed, leading to an argument between the two. She also alleged that the Georgia man was under the influence of both alcohol and drugs.

Police then drove to his home, according to CBS 46, where they demanded that he come out of the residence with his hands up. After exiting the home with his hands in the air, officers were able to arrest and charge the 29-year-old man.
No word on if the unnamed woman received hospital treatment for her gunshot wounds.
