The Baltimore Ravens have gotten some promising updates on their injured players for their upcoming Week 5 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. 30-year-old Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. told reporters who attended their October 6 practice that he’s expecting to play during the game.

He’s missed the past few games after suffering an ankle injury during the Ravens game against the Cincinnati Bengals back on September 17. Although they won 27 over 24, Beckham got hurt in the first quarter.
At the time, head coach John Harbaugh speculated that neither Beckham nor fellow injured player Odafe Oweh had severe injuries. Following the incident, the Ravens kept the wide receiver out of practice before he returned on a limited practice basis two weeks later.
“I don’t believe either of those are serious injuries.”

Regardless of missing Beckham and several other players for various other injuries, the Ravens were able to win three out of their four games before going into Week Five, seating them at the top of the AFC North conference with their record with their defense picking up the slack, only allowing an average of 14.5 points per game.
Nonetheless, the Ravens have been missing out on Beckham since, in just the two games before the injury, he got five receptions and made 66 yards.
All in all, the Baltimore team has been grappling with losing players periodically. Players Beckham, Rashod Bateman, Marlon Humphrey, Ronnie Stanley, Safety Marcus Williams, and Tyler Linderbaum have all missed at least one game for health reasons.
