One family in an undisclosed neighborhood put smiles on their local sanitation workers’ faces in the most meaningful way.
Earlier this month, a video posted to Marques Young’s Instagram (his account is now private) revealed that his family’s act of kindness of providing snacks and beverages in a basket on the porch for neighborhood sanitation workers was well-appreciated.
In the video clip, one young brother helped himself to potato chips and pop from the basket as Marques’ camera recorded the man. He even did a little happy dance. As the clip progresses, the young man returns two more times before bringing fellow co-workers.
They praise the family for leaving the bomb treats with the unidentified worker hitting a twerk and singing “From The Back! From The Back! From The Back!”
The infectious video culminated with the two sanitation workers talking to one another about the sweet gesture. And the men bust moves reminiscent of Kid-N-Play. The young brother grabbed a Gatorade and something to eat. One man with locs said as he grabbed a snack and a can, “Ooo. Cherry Coke? I like the Cherry Coke.”
The first worker to start retrieving the goodies, gleefully expressed, “Man, they got the good sh*t, bro! They goated. I love them.”
The other coworker advised that Marques had a Ring camera.
“Oh, they got a camera? Y’all are goated! I love y’all. Thank you,” he says directly to the camera.
There’s everything to love about this video!
